Punkbuster kicking me out of Call of Duty 2

Hey myLotters, I have a problem... I've recently reinstalled Call of Duty 2 because I wanted to play it online again. The installation went smoothly, so did patching (I patched gradually, not directly from v1.0 to v1.3). I connected to a server and played for 3 minutes when, suddenly, Punkbuster kicked me out of it for no apparent reason. I tried patching Punkbuster with the help of it's installer but with no avail. I tried connecting to several other servers and I always get kicked out because of Punkbuster. Can anyone solve this problem? And yes, I have PB enabled.

Yes, try a manual update. If it still doesn't work, make sure you do not have any programs running in the background. Also try disabling your antivirus software as that may be disabling Punkbuster's cheat detection functions.
