Still people use 800*600 monitor resolutions !!!

I have still been seeing people using just 800*600 resoilution in their PCs....even in this high resolution era... I am using only 1280*1024 though...but looking to buy a new PC and shoot up that resolution

that many be due to the software they are using...some software STILL only support 800*600...
