Make sure you are all aware of this! Virus & Spyware has got much worse and more tough to crack down. The bigger issue is when surfing on the net, more people have been hit with a Trojan Horse virus because they came across a site which happens to be a fake program or a fake anti-virus/anti-spyware product. Newer viruses/spyware nowadays are hard to remove, because what happens once the infection comes on your computer it becomes part of Windows, it goes into your memory running in the background and it will not allow you to remove it because it says access is denied it is being used by another source or program. It is like a chain reaction, it duplicates and renames itself to different symbols and other characters. Worst case is when you do run a scan it will either delete a few virus/spyware or it won't be able to delete them all because it says access is denied or come across where certain viruses can't be detected and hides from the anti-virus. A very great program that helps is called Trend Micro Hijackthis - which does a quick scan to let you know if you have any infections on your computer that you can remove manually. Latest versions of Norton Antivirus really do help as well and sometimes removing your hard drive from your desktop/laptop and connecting it to another system to have a scan on it helps to - because it is no longer being used as a source on your original computer. Now for those who are not computer savvy - it is best you contact the computer technicians that really know how to crack down those malicious programs.
