For all of u, what accept themselves as religious? Can you honestly say that your spirit is free? And how do you describe the inside freedom? Is it harmony or in a conflict with your faith? Be honest...dont you think sometimes that the religion is something what puts bonds on your life...that actually you need something else, but from other side you really really want to be faithfull follower and this makes a serious dylema in you. suppose I am believer, everybody demands purity from me whereas I am still in my old body it should be controlled by Holy spirit, that too when I submit fully to HIM, as a human I cannot attain that spiritual status which you demand it is very difficult to go on.

Take, O Lord, into Thy hands my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding and my will. All that I am, and have. Thou hast given me, and I surrender them to Thee, to be so disposed in accordance with Thy holy will. Give me Thy love and Thy grace, with these I am rich enough and desire nothing more... This is a quote from Saint Ignatius de Loyola It is his oblation or dieing to self. what needs do we have when all that we have and are, our very being is God's, without Him we are no thing.

I will never know complete freedom until and if I reside in heaven with the Good God... until then I can enjoy the hope and promise of it. Religion is a science that unites man to God.

I am Spiritual not Religious. I am an alcohloic and became spiritual after being in the program awhile. The saying we have is, Religion is for people who believe in hell. Spirituality is for those that have been there. That's my take on it. I believe in a Higher Power not one thats been preached about. If it is the one I was raised in believeing them I will apologize when I meet my maker. But for now my maker is just a Higher Power that I need in my life daily. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

religion is a way of life to set your spirit free. the thing is man is attrected towards sin and the religion is like a police to stop u from doing it. let us discuss this with an example as per religion it is sin to have an affair without marriage. but many people will feel they are letting themselves free by doing it.but does that really free them?

I am free FROM religion, not into it. Spirituality, and the sense of metaphysics, is something strictly personal. Turning those feelings into a mass phenomenon is what religion is all about. In this context, religion (any) is power... control, not freedom. Organized religious churches says their believer what to do and what NOT to do in the name of something that should reflect the spiritual feeling of everybody. But, actually, the spiritual feeling is something personal, cannot be super-imposed, nor it can be forced into children and into populations. So try to be free FROM religion, not into it. Come out of it, and follow your own personal spirituality. Supernatural feelings and beliefs are of a personal nature.
