I am only first year college taking up Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.In all of the subjects i've taken,my favorite is about web designing.I love designing a web.I wish someday I could be a famous web designer.I appreciate much those who are really good in this field.
to those who are good in web designing, can you give me some tips on how to design a web that are most convincing?

hi am nujoom, am a web designer am also a bachelor of science in information technology,if u want to start your carrier as web designer you need to specialize in Xhtml,css,photoshop,illustrator anf flash. also try to do some content management systems .it is good too. i prefer joomla it is very advanced cms.check my website it is a fine stuff i made www.nujoomstudio.com

I just can to give you an advice; please don't try to be famous; its better "be original".
There are free templates everywhere, free CSS, free XHTML code, etc. But if you develop your own design; you will be feel better that a famous web designer.
When you try to develop a website; first step; take pencil and paper and write everything, draw everthing that is running on your head; let your mind fly, each idea it could be a nice design.

I'm also taking up BS Computer Science, though it's more of math than dealing with actual computers.
I'm also somewhat of a web designer too, and to improve my skills, I study. I view the webpages of professional designers, read/download related e-books, and practice coding.
