I generally do a little of both. I also hit the sales. Nice to have the brands at more affordable prices. Also, you can get brand names at the re-sale shops as well. Some of them brand new with the tags still on. It all comes down to shopping smarter. And keeping more green in your pocket.

I don't care about branded or brandless. Things are for use. I buy what I need at a low price. The lower the better when the quality is at the same. Branded stuff are so expensive. Sometimes the same stuff is several times at price comparing to a brandless stuff.

That is a good question. Sorry I am so late to the party once again. I just came across this discussion and wanted to put in my 2 cents, lol! Mostly I don't care if I buy an unbranded item or not, as long as it does what it is supposed to. And roght now I am watching my pennies at the grocery sory and pretty well everywhere. Come to think of it, who doesn't keep a close eye on their money and where it is going? Even millionaires must keep an eye out, or they won't be for long! I must admit though, that it is always nice to find a good brand at a lower price

When young I was a shopping freak and couldn’t refrain from buying things which were attractive but sometimes they totally had no practical value at all. When getting older I then realize that to be wasteful is unwise. I will buy the branded because of their quality but I will get them only during the sale. If I find that certain brandless items are genuine I will buy them as well.

It depends on how much money I have. If I have a big budget for shopping, then I would likely buy the branded stuffs because though they are expensive the stuffs really last longer than the others. But if I'm on a stiff budget, then probably I would settle for the inexpensive ones.

It depends how good or how nice(if food) the products are to if i buy unbranded products or branded products.
I buy quite alot of supermarket branded products because most of them are just as good as branded products.
I buy a few things branded, because the supermarket versions arn't as good as the branded version.
When i buy my sons nappies/diapers i only buy "Huggies natural fit" because all the other branded/non branded nappies i've tried he always manages to wee out the sides of them and leave the nappy near enough dry. The type of nappies i do buy are because they are the only ones that he cannot wee out of the side of.

I buy anything, branded or not, if I really like it. Sometimes, branded stuff dont match up to their standards so I dont go for them all the time. But I do not mind buying good brands when I have a lot of money to spend.
