Associated Content Earnings

I got like 6 bucks for my adoption story. I THOUGHT it was because there weren't many stories on adoption there. Well, the other day I tried to submit another adoption article about how some people shouldn't adopt. It got denied for upfront payment because it was too opinionated. LOL I submitted it for page views only like I did my poem and guess what? It's already getting tons of page views. Actually, the poem and some stupid recipe I posted are getting the most page views.

Most I ever got was $8.00 on one of the specials. Usually, I don't make much and I don't consider myself much of a writer but I still won't sign the rights away. Good or bad, my words and thoughts are mine and I don't want to ever see something I've written with another writer's byline. Actually, I haven't written anything for months but I just had a bunch of little deposits made into my Paypal account from AC so I guess somebody is still reading my stuff. Think I'll go to the AC site and see what's happening. Maybe I'll even put something up. Thanks for reminding me with this discussion.

I have made $4.41 as upfront payment as the highest that I have earned. However, I have had several articles make over three dollars each and that adds up quickly if you can do more than just one or two articles a day. I really enjoy writing on there and wish I could find time to write more articles to earn even more money there.

Thanks for sharing your experiences about AC here. I am thinking of buying "original content" from a "content wholesaler" to publish them in AC. I am not good in writing because English is not my native language (I am from the Philippines, we speak Tagalog). What advice can you give to me? Is it okay to buy content and publish them in AC?

I haven't been writing on AC for long (only 7 articles published), so take this with a grain of salt. The highest payout I have received is 2.51. It's not much, but I will take it. Now I am waiting for those page views!
