It is wonderful to hear that quite a few of you want your friends' discussions to be popular. What a great selfless attitude. You are my friend. LOL. Thanks.

I try to take time everyday that I log on here, to post to my friends discussions that they have started when they post things that interest me, and hope they take time to respond back to me as well. Then there are times I just look for discussions that interest me as well.
How I work this is I am sure not like others as I have a limited time on here most of the time to post on here. How I work it, is I go thru a lot of the discussions that I have started, and take time to respond back to the people that have responded there. Then I will go in return and try to find 1 discussion they have started and respond back to them if possible to help them out as well. I feel this is a safe bet as well. But this is just my opinion.

yes i do. my first preference will be for discussions without any response, and then to discussins from my interests, and lastly discussions started by my friends. outside this i've never participated in any discussins so far.

I try to get to my friends discussions first before I do others and when that I know that they do the same on mine as well...sometimes some of their post is not what I can chat about so I don't do a response but I try to get to their first before I get to anyone elses....

Well, I don't really have a mutual understanding, but sure I'll reply if the discussions interest me. It's a good way to find appealing discussions.
And you know how that old saying goes: Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours ;)

I don't respond to them because of money, the very reason is because I know something about the topic they are discussing. I know my friends would understand that, since mylot is not about earning money only but because you want to contribute valid opinions. The same thing I think of them, in-case they don't respond to me.
Making friends here or simply being here has lots of benefits for other members, it's fun to LEARN than earn..

There are days when I dedicate these solely to replying to discussions my online friends started here in mylot. Like now, I've responded to about three or four of them, if I'm not mistaken.
I guess it's one's initiative and a way of showing concern for your friends who either requested to be your friends or whom you requested to be your online friends. I am currently catching up on them because somehow, I feel that they are also contributing to my earnings here in this community.
But there are also those days when I just can't make it to access mylot because as I've previously mentioned in other discussions, I only rely on the company's computer to access the internet because I still don't have my own computer at home; although my husband and I do have plans to purchase a computer set just before our daughter starts schooling. We are fully aware that she really needs it for her studies.
Aside from this, we have a lot of reports which have deadlines we should adhere to and there are times when I even can't spare thirty minutes of my time for mylot. I feel so sad but I can't do anything about it, at times.

Yes, I do respond to my friends' discussions.
Actually, I used to check first the discussions of my friends before I go to other discussions.
In this manner, this will make your relationship intact as well.
Have a great day! :-)

Hi BeautifulLife,
I personally feel that is incorrect to have a mutual understanding and just respond to all your friends question whether it interests you or not.Notifying through your e-mail about the discussion your mylot friend has started, is only to notify, because it is very difficult to find out what question your mylot friend asked in this huge membership community. Not that you should respond to him compulsarily.
I do have lot of friends in mylot, but I respond to their question only if it interests me and I expect the same from my friends also.
Good Luck.
