Daylight saving (or 'summer time') is pointless.

Daylight saving is absolutely pointless, in my opinion. It gets dark at 9:00pm, when you're having a party you like the ambience of the nighttime, not a glare from the sun.

I have never liked daylight savings, I don't know why people just couldn't get up an hour early instead of disrupting all the time zones and the two change overs a year, I just hate it....

Exactly Lilaclady. Also, have you noticed pro-DST people call anti-DST people 'whingers'? Well, the pro-DST people were all whinging about the lack of DST before the trial implementation.

I think people have a cheek making such big changes, a change like that affects so many people, its the sort of thing that should be almost 100% wanted...even 95% before changes can be made...
