I just have finished cooking for the prayer. This is me and my spouse plan for the beginning year of Islamic calender. I have chicken tandoori, some malay dish called beef gulai, which cooked with some baked grated coconut and some coconut milk with some spices. I also cooked a rice which we called a sunny rain rice which have 3 different color in a time and cooked with some ghee and tomato puree. For the dessert we have a fruits ( honey dew, some local fruits we call jambu air and some apples) mixed with some yogurt and honey. My spouse are very happy and exited to gives the food as a charity to a kids of the gardener who is working in my house area.

Selamat menyambut Awal Muharram! That sounds delicious! Here I can by Tandoori and eat it with the Nan bread (Roti nan). LOL! Your wife sure cooked lots of things ya for the new year. There is nothing special on my side except that my in laws are here from Indonesia to just be here for the short holiday. Have fun with all the great food!
