Increase website traffic

I have a problem with my website, there's no traffic. Can you tell me how to increase traffic in my site?

You need more content....Write regularly for about a month or two first. After that, promote your site as much as possible. Also trade links with other bloggers.

Maybe get involved in forums that interest you, and where you can leave a link. Also leave quality comments on blogs, where you can leave your website, as I have had visits this way on my sites (listed in my mylot profile)...
