I am a huge Yankee fan and I can not wait until spring training let alone the start of the season. I am very excited to see the job that Joe Girardi will do with the team. Although, being a huge Joe Torre fan it will be an end of a great era and I will miss seeing him in the dug out. As for the hole steriod issue in baseball, it saddens me because BArry Bonds (in my opinion) is a jerk and should not have ANY RECORDS. I was very saddened to hear that Andy Pettitte used HGS, because he is one of my favorite Yankees. All in all though, can't wait for the 2008 season.

I know now that the year has started i am very excited to watch every game. its great that the Tanks start off by plaing 22 games in a row. I think without Torre being there even tho i though he was a great guy and maeger I think it wil lbring new life back to the organization

I was so saddened with the Andy Pettitte thing because like you said he was one of my favorite Yankees, and well I love Derek Jeter.

alot of what i have heard over the last few months reagarding baseball has upset me.. I am a HUGE die hard Yankee fan.. i put up with so much crap living in new england being a yankee fan, my husband and WHOLE family are red sox fans.. everytime a yankee messes up reagardless of who it is and what it is i dont hear the end of it.. I am constanly defending them.. Now im not complaing ijust wish there wasnt always something to defend... ya know?? i was too disappointment when i heard about andy pettite...and heart broken over joe torree... but i know that the game must go on and it is all apart of the game...
i cant wait for the 2008 season!!! i am so bored in the winter time for baseball is the only sport that i am into... I cant wait!

I personally dont care much for the Yankees but i do respect them as a very successful ball club. it will be interesting to see how they do with a torre gone but with jeter still leading the team i think they will be ok
