Please everyone, if you receive an anonymous e-mail speaking ill of Barack Obama, do not believe it like it is the Gospel. All across the internet I am finding myths and flat out lies being spread about Barack Obama. If you suspect something please thoroughly research it. Do not accept things as the truth until you check it out. I don't know if it is the desperate Clinton campaign or perhaps an early strike from the Republicans or both. However the fact that any attack is from an anonymous source should tell you that perhaps its not true. If you want to know the TRUTH. Go to Obama's website and look at the issues. That's what should matter most, not crazy claims that Obama is a muslim or unpatriotic not too mention the countless other misconceptions I have seen. Please visit the website before spreading negative word about Obama or any other candidate. It should not matter if the candidate is black or white, female or male, etc. We need the best person for the job to get our great nation back on track.

When he took the oath of office he DID NOT PUT HIS HAND ON THE BIBLE. He used The Koran. That, in itself, tells me a lot about the man. Thank you.

I have never heard that before but I will look into that. I know he's a Christian and his only possible ties to being Muslim are from when he was a child he was sent to Catholic & Muslim schools in Indonesia not for religious reasons but for educational purposes.
I will check out that sentence and get back to you.

Sorry my friend, it looks like you were misinformed as I expected. Obama is a Christian and was sworn in with his hand on the Bible.

If you don't mind me asking was Koran thing something received via e-mail? I'm putting together a movement to destroy all these myths as they come out.

Please read the following link debunking this myth. It is an excellent article covering Baracks backgound and his Christian faith and his allegiance to the USA. This should put a lot of rumors in the garbage can where they belong.
...Oh how I love Snopes.com!

Hmm, I really dont' know how to reply to this post. All I have to say is that people shouldn't 100 percent believe what's at barackobama.com either, because not all of the truth is there. Not all candidates will post the whole truth about their lives at their sites. They will chose what sounds best and only post that. Hello, they're trying to get elected, they don't want to tell people the bad stuff.
Having said that, I do believe Barack is a good guy, and I do believe that people are very scared right now because he's really on top and people didnt expect that. I myself want the clintons back in office, but i wouldn't mind barack being there.

true the website is pretty much the candidates best face forward, but its weird I have many people tell me that barack talks of change but has no plan, the website shows what he plans to do. I think the big problem is the Clinton camp (i.e. the BET owner's intro of Hillary) trying to stay away from the issues and focus on Barack's negatives.
If the Dem's lose the Presidency I blame the Clinton's negative campaign they've run. They've hurt Obama and themselves by being so negative.

It's really awful that people do those things. It;s like they're still against black people don't you think.
It makes me so angry that they're doing negative propaganda against people and during the elctions.
It makes me even wanting more him to become president in America even though i'm not a citizen but just the fact that it would be good if there would be a black president.

Its ironic you say that, as more racism is revealed against Obama I have had many replies some I believe from Republicans saying that they might vote for Obama just because of some of the racism he is facing.
There were a lot of questions about what exactly happened in New Hampshire but I doubt we'll ever know the 100% truth.
I'm more looking ahead, we got Kerry's endorsement and the Governor of Arizona, an older white female. I think that was the best endorsement it shows women they don't have to vote for Hillary just because she is a woman or because they like Bill.
I hate to say because I like Edwards but as soon as he drops out of the race Obama should get the majority of his supporters.

It matters when they play the race card.
I just don't like the man. I don't like what he stands for, how he composes himself and how he acts in public. He seems to be a bit standoffish and a bit snobby to me and that's not someone I would want running our country.
At this point, as long as he doesn't win I don't care who gets nominated or wins the election. Not like we have a say in it anyway. We as the public don't elect the president. The electoral college does.

I do agree one vote does not count for much in the grand scheme of things, I think the key is, like in Iowa, not just voting but telling others who the candidates and are and what they stand for.
17% of voters in New Hampshire made their decision on the last day. That shows me a huge portion of voters are uneducated on the candidates and very likely voting for the wrong person.
As w/ the race card, the funny thing the first negatives I heard on him around here about race was that he was not black enough for black people. I think its disgusting if a black man is well educated and intelligent that he is even shunned by some of his own race. Obama is is the only candidate with the message of inclusion all races, all demographics so its ironic that you feel he is standoffish.
I think a big part of Obama's critics prefer people with experience because they are older and have experience. Experience normally counts for something, however experience in Washington is a negative right now. Things haven't been done right in DC in a very long time and it gets worse every year. I have an Austrailian friend who said the same thing happened over there. A bunch of younger politicians got elected and are actually doing a great job. I guess Austrailia is calling it a Honeymoon or something but it sounds eerily similar to this current race we have now.

what amazes me is that so many people by into these spam emails. Are the American people that easy to dupe?! But of course we are... just the other day someone at work mentioned that Obama is a muslim who doesn't salute the flag. This was the day before our primary! So sad.

It really is. Just the other day I'm speaking with Hillarites (I try to convert everyone I meet/chat with) and of the 4 Hillarites I chatted with they mispelled the words:
voteing
awsome
totaly
Hilary
guarntee
not to mention one of them saying they thought it was Obama also running for President in November.
The rest of the world knows more about our politics than we do. It is sad.
