What are the current movies that everyone is waiting to watch?

My son downoads the latest movies and last night we watched American Gangster which was a long movie but really good. A week ago we watched Transformers and that wasn't bad. He's thinking about downloading The Chipmunk Movie for my granddaughter and asked me what else I want to see but I can't really think of anything that's going to keep my interest. I don't go out to the movies so the only trailers I see are on tv and I seldom check them out online.
Are there some good movies that are out that are "must sees"? What have you seen lately that was good?

I wouldn't mind seeing "The Great Debaters" and "Why Did I Get Married" haven't seen those yet!

I'm looking forward to seeing the great debaters but not sure about why did I get married. That may be too mushy for me...lol

It's been a long time since I went to the movies. I think the last one that we saw in the theater. I think the last one we saw there was the Simpsons Movie with our daughter and her friends. Before that it was Shrek 3 that was such a cute movie we ended up having to buy it for christmas.

For some reason I could never get into the Simpsons and I feel like the only person in the world who isn't. I did see Shrek 3 and love it. My granddaughter has the DVD.

Wow I haven't kept up with movies at all so am no help when it comes to suggests but honestly I saw previews on TV for the Chipmunk movie and I would not get it or allow my grandkids to watch it - it seemed to me to be geared for an adult audience and what little I saw I don't care to see it.

I haven't seen the Chipmunk movie yet but I'm waiting for my son to download it for me. I don't think there is as much adult content in it as there seems to be....at least I hope not because I would be so disappointed.

There are lots of new movies coming out these days. Ive seen I am Legend, its a nice one. National treasure which i will be watching tomorrow. Alien vs Predator next, then Bee Movie for the kids. Then Narnia, Prince Caspian. I havent checked yet what are the other coming movies yet.

I'm really looking forward to The Golden Compass, ctry, even though I've read both good and bad reviews about it. I like to make up my own mind, and it seems like a movie I would like. I am also a Nicole Kidman fan, lol. I have Transformers and Shrek The Third(which I have not yet gotten around to watching), and I just ordered Rush Hour 3 and Live Free or Die Hard. There are a couple of scary new ones out, but I don't really go for them much anymore.

Vicky got Shrek 3 for christmas and I watched it with her...well I watched it and she fell asleep...lol! I thought it was awesome. I did see Transformers with my son and his fiance and it brought back so many memories from when he was young because he had all of the transformers and they were all so familiar to us.

I am waiting for the release of "Meet the Spartans". It is basically a spoof of the movie "300". But it spoofs other celebrities and issues too.
I like spoof movies so I think I will like this movie.
