has anyone gone to rome and did they find it romantic?

I went to Rome in December, 2006. Oh! I can't forget this beautiful place. The small stone streets, the Colosseum, the pizza, the people and the Christmas time, oh it was lovely. Actually it was my business trip so did not get time to explore it much, but what ever it is, it is really a memorable moment for me. I wish my boyfriend would have been there with me. It suddenly rained when we were doing sight seeing.

yeah i went to Rome 2 years ago. Vatican City was amazing! was it a romantic city? i regard Rome as a holy city or a walk throughout the ancient History.
