I am shocked! A few years ago I sold some of my sons clothes he had outgrown on Ebay and made some decent money. I put a few auctions up recently and I made next to nothing on them. I probably only broke even with fees. So I am torn now if I should even bother putting anymore on there or not. It has been so long since I had any clothes listed, do they really not sell well anymore there?

Try ecrater. I have switched over to them now. I am going to keep a few auctions going on ebay to draw more traffic to my ecrater store. Ecrater is free.

There is a lot more competition on ebay now. Lots of people selling brand new clothes there. Unless you have name-brand stuff and a high user ranking, it will be hard to stand out from the crowd. I would recommend looking at the "completed auctions" of item similar to what you want to sell (it is an option you can check in the yellow search bar on the left of your screen). Also, your timing might be off right now since many kids got clothes for Christmas, so parents aren't shopping as heavily right now.
Good Luck.

Maybe with the holidays and people buying gifts, they were buying new. I would try again when spring is approaching, and list spring and summer clothes. Also search Ebay for similar items and see how those are going. I think I am going to do the same thing because I have boxes of summer clothes that I could try to sell.
