McDreamy or McSteamy whose your favourite character in Grey's Anatomy and why

Apart from the obvious, McDreamy would be my choice. Though McSteamy has grown on me. I can honestly say that there isn't anyone in greys that i don't like. I think this is why i love that program, there hasn't ever been a program on tv that there wasn't at least one character that got on my nerves.
Addison, even though she was the ex-wife you grew to love her character, the same with Callie Torres...
Derek Shepherd is my first choice because of the effectionate way he longingly looks at Meredith you really believe that he is in love with her, maybe thats just me being soppy lol
So who is your favourite character and why?

well i don't know if patrick dempsey is married but i bet he hasn't had a shortage of women in his life since the show, if you get what i mean.. lol

Well, until last nights episode my favorite was mcdreamy. But, since they broke him and meredith up, I'm not as big of a fan. I think she was kind of right. He just wants someone to settle down with him, it doesn't matter who. I hope that eventually they will get back together though. I think this thing with rose will just be a fling.

oops, i havn't seen the episode yet. I am in the uk and have to wait slightly longer to catch up....:-(

Sorry neither for me.
Patrick has stated in many interviews he doesn't want his character to have a relationship with Meridith any longer. I know when the show returns he has requested a change so be prepared.
I enjoy watching Chandra Wilson, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey. Her ups and downs have really moved me. The episode this evening was one example of how she really makes you feel for a character. She deserves all the awards that she has won.

My favorite is also Dr. shepherd, he's so husband, you're right the way he looks at meredith it's like he's really in love with her and you'll also fell in love with him.

I have never heard that expression before "he's so husband" i love it! Shame i have one lol only joking i know Derek Shepherd isn't real lol its only a tv show....

I like McDreamy better. McSteamy's too arrogant-looking, too cocky for me :) Patrick's not your typical handsome Hollywood hunk like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise, but he has this attitude that makes him so adorable!
