The weekend was lively until it grew cold.
Men drank, talked and joked for a lark,
Day grew older as the sky went stark,
A bird carrying men rose, high like a
skylark
Lurking in the sky, its signal disappeared
The bird got lost as happiness made a blend
Towards the ground, the plane took a bend
And very sad became the weekend
Sad but unshaken yet, people were alert
Then people in prayer, became one heart
The truth gazed in the eyes but did avert
Of a black weekend, it was the start
A hundred and more made the ground crack
With nearly all dead and the new day became very black.
