Ok..so I've had 3 people tell me they love me but in a joking way. This flatters me to have 3 people say it but it also p!$$es me off because in a way they are toying with my heart. In geography once this one guy would always put his head on my desk and I would ask him to move it because it was bothersome. He said he did it because he "loved me".
At work this one guy said that I was a sweetheart for taking over for him and he wants to marry me someday. He has a girlfriend.
This one guy came into my place of work and asked me if I was married and he wanted me because I gave him such great service.
Do things like this bug anyone else? Am I just assuming they don't like me when they really do?
I hate when mean girls at school would do things like this to another girl they think is ugly. They would saythat girls crush liked her when they really didn't. I find it cruel.

I really hate when guys do that. I wasn't one of the pretty popular girls in high school. I would have guys do that to me all the time, then turn around and laugh. I never understood why guys do that to girls. It's quite obvious they don't mean it.

I think you are taking this all too seriously. These men are saying I love you, because they like you and have respect for you for being a nice and thoughtful person. They certainly don't mean any harm or malice. I think you need to lighten up and take these comments as a way they are complimenting you, because that is what they are doing. They aren't toying with your heart, they are just nice men that like to say nice things to you. Just say thanks and me too, or something like that. But also mean it because they are complimenting you. This is my opinion from what you have written here.
