The final exam has come to an end, and I feel so bad about it. This semester I have been playing for most of the time---dating with my boyfriend, surfing the enternet, and taking part in kinds of activities held in the school. So I have little time to study. At the same time, I have had my own computer this term, so I would surfing on the net and didnot want to go to the library to study. At the end of the term,I tried my best to review, but it seemed to be of no use. Guradually, the result of the final exam came out, I found that most of my subjacts were done badly. I feel so bad about it, what should I do??

thats not good.your computer should be used first for your study and not for surfing the net,you should have disciplined yourself to study first before pleasure.your future is at stake here try to be more focused on your studies.pleasure comes after finishing your studies.i hope you can pass your exams.good luck!

I feel sorry for you. But now nothing can be done, time has passed and once it has passed it never comes back. If you want a good result next time, you'll have to plan your future studies. Give equal time to everything including your studies. I also had a bad habit of studying at the eleventh over which resulted badly. So I tried to divide my time with respect to my activities and now I am confident that I will improve in my studies...

Don't give yourself a guilt trip over it or throw yourself into a frenzy, simply relax, count to ten and just breath, medidate. tell yourself, that you will put in more effort next time and get a better score.

There is really not much you can do about the exam that is over. However, in everything that happens to us, there is at least one lesson to be learned. In this case, your acceptance of your own deficiencies in preparation is a major step towards your own healing. Look to the future and see what other things in life you need to prepare for - maybe not an exam anymore. Then, learn the lesson and use it. "Don't lose the lesson" - that is important, then "using the lesson" is just as important.
I just came out of an exam that I prepared badly for. I crammed in the days preceding each exam, but God has been good, and helped me pull through. It is really a miracle. While cramming, I prayed so hard, although I know how deficient I was. I spent so much time quarreling with my internet service provider and the rest of the time looking for a babysitter.
I was lucky, but just the same, I have to learn the lesson. It was hard to be tortured by the thought that I could have done better.
cheers and move on! learn the lesson.

You need to buckle down and study the whole time next semester so that you won't be in the same predicament next time final exams roll around. Set a schedule for studying and playing and stick to it. When you have something you should be studying or an assignment to do, don't let your boyfriend distract you. If he loves you, he will understand and want you to do well. Good luck!

It is really a very serious matter, I think if you would have not wasted ur time today you would have been enjoying with ur friend'd rather than feeling sad and depressed, but know nothing could be done , the only thing that is left behind is that know it is time to start the prepration for the next semester examination, in order to cover up the percentage of previous semsester.
At last I only want to say that just don't worry, every thing will be alright if you will start working hard from today only. And I know that you will defenitely do well in ur next semester examination.

I have a life as well, and I know what you are going through, but all I can say is that you have to study, no matter what, you have to study.

Use this as a learning experience. You now better understand your learning style, and what tends to distract you from being as successful as you're capable of. I would first of all seek the support of friends, or someone you trust so that you can help each other stay on track. Such things are always a lot more bearable when you have someone to endure the pressure with you. When you have support of others, you're less inclined to give up so easily. Plan your schedule ahead. Always make time for your schoolwork, but do try to work in some time for yourself here and there. When you do this, however, it is key to prioritize and find what things matter to you. If you value your studies more, put that higher on your priority list and attend to it before you engage in anything "fun" or nonproductive. Also, if you can, consider rewarding yourself after you complete a difficult assignment... this can be anything from extra time surfing the internet to buying yourself something you really want. It helps some people stay motivated and stay in the habit of working diligently when they know their hard work will pay off in some way. If you yourself and discipline yourself accordingly, you will find that your results will improve and you'll be so much happier with yourself which will make you even more motivated to do good work in the future, which is something you will be able to apply to the rest of your life... Best of luck to you, and take heart!

Well, at least you are aware of your habits and you realize the reason why you did poorly on your exams. The formula to get good grades in school is simple: Just study. Open your books and read them. Make sure you learn something every day. It's worth it because it will do wonders for your future career.

Hi peterpan 2006,
We all learn from mistakes.Everybody makes mistakes but the fact that you realize and accept it says that you are willing to do good in the future.
I once had performed bad in exams, being an intelligent child,I got a lot of scolding, and myLot was the place where I posted a similar topic and soon,I was happy.
So chill and enjoy life, and yeah learn from your mistakes.

Prioritise your time.No more playing next time.If you want good grades you have to take it more seriously.Tell your friends or boyfriend sorry I'm studying, will get back to you when I'm done.Let them know how important studying is to
you.Whatever you have to do to get the studying time in.Even cutting back on activities and surfing the net.

Hi Peterpan. My Advise for you will be Reflect and Move-on. I feel sorry for you but you need not to continually worry, it would only frustrate you. Well, think of it as this it would remind you of a Lesson learned and that would make you a much eager and persistent person, Am i right? You can try this also: (For Relaxing Purposes) Breathe Inhale-Exhale, Walk on a treadmill, Make a creative style to study in this case you'll be more into it than most things And most of all always be with Someone that can uplift your spirit... Like a Friend:)

Life's all about choices, so choose better next time. Nothing you can do about this exam now.
