Anyone else feel like they get the short end of the stick?

I for one hate always getting the short end of the stick (or in other words, the worst deal) in situations. I hate people not directly telling me things and just going with it later or putting it in writing other places. I'm usually told things at the last minute too. Which means I have to try and make my plans fit into everyone else's life. It also gets old getting snippy attitudes from people when you don't warrant them. Which of course get's extremely old. There are just so many other things that happen to me and I try not to complain about it too much because it gets me absolutely nowhere. However, everyone else throws a fit, feels they're entitled to things and throws enough fits to get their way.
My list of complaints just keeps getting longer. So, how about you, do you seem to get the short end of the deal all the time? Do you complain about it? Do you stand up all the time and say enough is enough or do you pick your battles wisely?

They won't even let me have the stick at all. They're afraid I'll WACK them with it. I'm easy going & let things slide untill someone crosses the line then they find themselves staring down the barrel of a cannon. Once I decide it's time to fight things get real ugly real quick.

I'm not really having a bad day, just some things are getting on my nerves, and other things I illustrated just for the sake of complaining's sake, lol.

I don't like being on that short end of the bargain, it's stressful already by just thinking about it. In most times, I just look for some other ways where I can complete my own delas first before I worry about them. I guess I simply don't allow them to pass all of it and put 'em all over my shoulder. I worry of myself first, before worrying other's problems. But if it has something to do with work, I'll go look out for solutions even if it means that I have to use every resources that I can pull out.

I had a problem getting the news last & late for years, so I finally told them once that I couldn't do that, I had made other plans (I had not.) That I needed to know something enough ahead of time so that I could make plans. I picked this one so as to be as inconvienent as possible to the planners so that they couldn't actually do exactly what they wanted to do because I wasn't there.
I'm more than willing to go along with things, if I have enough forwarning, so now the family includes me early on.
I have started to feel a bit taken advantage of by my roomie's family too. She was unhappy with her brother's behavior over Thanksgiving and I just flat told her to tell her folks that if they really wanted her out at their place, they had to both get her and bring her home, I would not be able to come out this year. Well, they did arrange it and her brother was on better behavior too, but only because she insisted that he had to be if they wanted her to come.

I like to plan things in advance, and when I do, someone always manages to change those plans and leaves me in the dust which gets frustrating, so I just stop making plans with people and literally don't do anything because it's hard to rely on people to actually keep their stories straight. Of course not doing anything gets old too. Sadly, I don't have very many people to hang out with anymore and I'm tired of not doing anything and relying on a set bunch of people. It's tiring.

I feel that way all the time. Just tonight I went to MCDonalds and got stuck behind a guy ordering the whole store. It was 11 at night. So it took fooooreeever. Anytime I get in a check out line something breaks down, they need a price check etc. So I know how you feel. I try to pick my battles wisely until it overflows and I burst.

I pick my battles. Sometimes the injustice I receive is not worth the trouble it takes to fix it.
If I get the short end of the stick and it's bad or unjust, I'll say something if it's a huge problem. But if it's a simple thing like not getting enough fries in my Happy Meal, then I'll just let it go. No sense in arguing.
