earthquakes or tornadoes? which is the most scary?

i think that earthquakes are more scary than tornadoes because here in greece we have alot of them but i may be wrong! what's your opinion?

I think earthquakes would be more scary, but I have not experienced earthquakes or tornadoes.

I'd have to say earthquakes are more scary, only because there is no place to go when the ground is moving. But with tornados, people can at least hide underground.

I agree. I think earthquakes are more frightening as you can run and hide from a tornado. Plus there are no reliable warning for earthquakes. Also earthquakes can effect people for hundreds of miles around (eg the Boxing day tusnami cuased by an earthquake in 2004 which killed about 250,000 deaths). AND earthquakes have aftershocks.
