Finding ways to make extra cash

As a stay at home mother, I am always scouting out ways to make extra cash via the internet. I have tried several (thousand [just kidding]) avenues. Although, I must report that I have not made any cosiderable income from any program that I tried.
Affiliate Programs:
These types of programs, it seems works for some but I did not have any luck with them at all. I am not sure if I was going at it wrong but none the less, there was no profit here
PTC/PTR Sites:
I am quite sure there are some good ones out there but finding one is much harder than it may seem. Also, if you don't add referrals to your downline then you are not going to get anywhere fast. Seriously, how far can you get at $0.0001 per click? Most sites, if you click everything available, you will do good to make ten cents for the day.
Now back when I started researching ways to make money online, I joined a ton of these type of sites. I was reading hundreds and hundreds of emails a day. When payout time came - 9 times out of 10 I didn't get paid. One site really comes to mind when I think about this - Does anyone remember Tesas paid to click? I may have spelled that wrong but this site really got my excitement up. There were never ending buttons to click! I clicked until I couldnt click anymore - this was one of the worst losses I had (because I spent so much time there).
Paid Surveys
I have also tried this. Once again - Nothing. The payout is usually too high to reach or you get one survey a week (wont get anywhere fast that way) or when a survey is completed you find out that it was not for pay but for any entry into a drawing for cash or a prize.
Blogging
Now I must say that I have not really ventured into this end of the internet. I am not sure really what to write a blog on. Should it be all on one subject or a variety of subjects? I wonder....
Is anyone doing this and if so, has proven to be profitable?
I have resorted to trying to find an actual "JOB" via my home. I worked for a while in the customer service field. Basically, I feel that I was put on the "complaint line". I put everything I had into this job but at the end of the day, all of the verbal abuse from customers was just too much for me to take.
So....Here I go again in search of money on the internet!!!
What has worked for you?

I have only made money with ChaCha(.com) and Mylot. Everything else was scam, or I never got to find out if it was even real because in order to get paid the stakes were so high and so much had to be done to earn less than a penny. I am sick of trying sites and wasting my time I'm sticking to mylot.

For blogguing see my profile. I make about 40 to 60$ per month now but I warn it takes some months to achieve this because you have to write a lot.
But as I can see you can write a lot so I think you have great chance to make money while blogguing but you must know where to start to have some chance to get traffic and I advise you to read this article:
Why switch to hubpages (hubpages vs triond helium or blogger)
