Hello everybody, What courses you currently take? Do you like your course? Me, I am a first year college student in one of the state university here in Philippines. I am currently taking Bachelor of Science in Biology. It was not the course of my choice.I want to take civil engineering. But then, I have no choice at all, because I was not able to take the entrance exam and the exam that would determine if I will quality to civil engineering. After a semester, I have learned to love my course, it was interesting and research and laboratory experiment is very much fun and gives a lot of learnings to me. Aside from that, many said that BS Biology is an in demand course and soon if I will graduate I can get a job immediately. How about you guys, what course you taking up?

I am a college student n im lucky enough to have an optimistic mind in choosing my course which is mass communication... I do believe that this type of course reallly fits me for i dream to be a filmmaker. In choosing a course, u must allow ur dreamand ur capacity to be the bases of it.

State University? are you from UP? well, I'm not a college student anymore. I just graduated last April. I took up Speech Pathology which was my first choice but after a year I realized it wasn't for me. I continued with the course even if I didn't like it that much and now I wish I changed majors then. Yours is B.S. Biology, right? It was one of my choices since I wanted to take medicine before college.

Nope I am not from UP but from MSU. Congrats, if that is the case, you have already pass the hardship of being a student on some times. Yeah, and I am also planning to proceed to medicine too. Depends on the situation and opportunities coz we are not that rich to get a profession like medicine. I would just rely maybe on scholarship.

If you do want to take up medicine, keep your grades up so you could get a chance to apply for UP Med. It's the cheapest med school in the country and one of the best. I didn't have the best grades so I didn't apply to my dream med school which was UP. I figured if I'm not getting to that school, better not go into med school at all. It's really expensive course to get into and I'm not quite sure if my brain can handle the academics.

I started a combined degree in Civil Engineering and Science, but then I switched from Civil to Mechanical, because after doing a year and a half of civil, I realised that wasn't the kind of area I wanted to work in, although the school work was alright.
