Cremation or Ordinary Burial?

The topic may sound morbid but you wee, death is inevitable. Perhaps, at this point in time, you already have an idea as to what you would like to happen after death. Of course for some, they don't have any choice since it is their culture that dictates what has to be done.
Personally, for practical reasons, I would prefer to be cremated.

Although it is cheaper to cremate, the thought of being burned to dust just doesn't sit well with me...even though after we die, our souls are already gone and we obviously can't feel anything. just the thought of it though...yuck! I would rather just be buried in a box...nothing fancy. i don't see the point of paying thousands of dollars for a casket that will be underground. LOL! That is just me though. doesn't really matter because when I die, I will be Heaven bound, so whatever happens to my body holds little relevance to me. Thanks for sharing this discussion. God bless

I will prefer to an ordinary burial. Actually the most simple burial will be the best for me. I don't want to waste anything. In fact I like to donate all of my useful organs. And then I will be burned. One of my ash will be thrown into the ocean and the left will be burried with a tree. This is my wish.

Even though I can't be there to watch my body burn, I still can't fathom imagining my poor body being burned to ashes. It's like I've been spending so much to take care of my body and now I'll just burn it like that. I don't think I can take that as an option. No offense to people who think otherwise but this is just my opinion and this is my body so it has to be ordinary burial for me. I know it will rot and be eaten by worms but at least we don't see that visually. We just know but we don't see the process and that's fine with me.
