Was linkin park's old sound better..or is the new pop/rock sound more appealing?

Their old sound was hands down better than their new. Don't get me wrong, their new album was good and had some amazing sounding tracks on them but you just don't get any better than Hybrid Theory. And I mean Fort Minor brought it all together with mixing his raps with the heavy sound of the rest of the guys and that was just missing on the latest album. He was on two tracks and one of them didn't last long. I was highly disappointed in the direction they took this album and hope they get back to what made them great.

Well, I like 'Faint' and 'Hit the Floor' a lot, but I also like 'The Little Things give you away' and 'Shadow of the Day'. And 'No more Sorrow' sounds kinda like the old Linkin park don't you think? But if I had to pick.. I liked their old style more ..

for me linkin park is still the same from old to new album of them, i really like thier album. i also called old is gold.

I like best the previous records, thou Minutes to Midnight is more than okay. Gasp they are settling a bit, guys, how long can they rap angrily about things? There old sound was so much better then there new sound. I feel that they are trying to appeal to the emo crowd now. almost all there new stuff is depressing and boring. Why can't they come out with another CD like Hybrid Theroy. They need stop appealing to the emo crowd not everyone is depressed.

[b][u]well i think that the linkin park is best in every way i like there all songs sung by them it is my favorite band.... i love linkin park and i will say that the i am the hardcore fan of the linin park....

I'd like listen to their music at wee hours,when I can't go to sleep.During the time for these hours,it's quiet.So I can think about of myself for puzzled things.

I've got to say, I liked the old stuff more as well. But, the thing is, they were needing a comeback album, something that would attract new fans. If they decide to release another album, I hope they go back to the old style. Still, the new album has some decent songs on it.

I would have to say that I loved Linkin parks Hybrid theory. There new sound is also great though. This new ablbum is filled with songs that have great meaning. I can't wait to hear some more new songs from them, because they rock.
