Here is how I make an ice cream cake for my son's birthday. He wants one every year. And it turns out perfectly every time. Quick, easy and no fuss. And everyone LOVES it! I take my car keys..drive up to Dairy Queen... Pick up a tasty looking ice cream cake, pay for it, bring it home, put it in freezer until time for the celebration (if you can wait that long)..Voila! Everyone is happy, especially mama {wink}...lol Okay, that's my tip for the day...lol

lol! That's made my day. I am famous for running to the store and picking up a cake - because I am always in a rush/busy doing whatever. I was going to do something a little bit more labor intensive to surprise everyone.

Wow - thank you so much for the recipes! I am going to be making ice cream cake for every holiday coming up. It's a good thing I live in Phoenix where it's hot most of the time. (Except this morning - I was freezing!)

I looked for the answers, not really to respond :P I'm no baker but I'm planning to nag my sister into making me one :D :D :D I would love a Frozen Braso cake. There's only one bakery that makes it here in the Philippines and it's really expensive. It would be cool if my sister can make her own version of it. Thanks for the response on my discussion!
