What did you want to be?

What was it that you wanted to be as a child growing up? How about when you were in High School? Is that the career you have now? For me growing up, I wanted to be an artist but I switched to a cartoonist. In High School, I didn't know what I wanted to be. I was thinking about becoming an actor. I gave that up and made a different choice.

when i was growing up and in high school, i did not know what i wanted to be. i was confuse about school, and life. i did not know how important what i am doing in school would affect my entire life when i grow old. it would affect my life financially, educationally and socially or even religiously. i happened to be carefree about life when i was juvenille. i had no experience of work and the complexity of life. i wish someone had stressed this values when i was a child. i believe my grandma did, but i did not listen to her because she was not the kind of grandma i wanted to have. she was strict. i will always remember her because what she told me was right and she will always be in my heart to keep reminding of how i was wrong and she was right.

When I was little, I wanted to be an artist/cartoonist. Now, I am in high school, and because I am so good at math, I want to do something with that such as engineering, or physics. It is really weird to think how much my dreams and ambitions have changed over the years.

I wanted to be an interior decorator when I was a child. When I was in High School I wanted to be an artist and a writer. Then I wanted to be a graphic designer, but so far that hasn't happened. Right now I'm a homemaker and I spend all my time online trying to make some extra money. I still do a little writing, but it's not a career yet. Hopefully sometime in the next few years I can write a book and get it published and finally have a career. There are so many things to try in life that it's hard deciding which one to do.

I wanted to be a nurse from the time i was 3 years on and continued wanting that until I became pregnant in high school. It was my senior year. I still want to do something in the medical field, but am leaning more towards phlebotomy now instead of trying to do nursing school and raise three kids.

when I was younger I always wanted to work for Nintendo. But as I got older I decided I wanted to be a lawyer. Now I want to be a Criminal Psychologist or something along those lines, but with the way my grades are going that may not work too well, so I don't know what I want to do with my life right now. This should make me think. lol

I always wanted to be a singer or actrice but then i found out with education that it was not what i wanted and also my private and social life would suffer if it would work out. Now i'm working a fulltime job and study for interior design which is way more fun. So i'm glad that i'm still young and can have this opportunity.

way back pre-school, i wanted to become someone who can design a house, my cousin told me that it was called an interior designer, later on i learned that they're called architects. when i was in highschool, we had an elective architecture subject. i experienced how to make floorplans and all. it came to me that i cannot handle the job. that you cannot have enough sleep when you're an architect. so i settled for the next best thing, also in my field of interest. i'm now in college taking up industrial engineering. but im still thinking whether to take masterals, or teach majors, or become a full time engineer.

Like you I wanted to be a cartoonist, then a classical music composer, then an astrophysician finally I became an engineer :) Now I wanna quit my job, though it is high paying salary I hate to be an employee and wanna be my own boss and build my own business online. I had already experience in real mortar business so I see the difference.
