I have always been selling books online for many years now. Mostly because i enjoy the pleasure of books and subject matter. However I am always surprised that many people buy books online from all over the world. Probably because it is fun to research at the bookstore for titles and price, then purchase online!

Hi again Molly, you know my city is named Berkeley, just outside of San Fransico, and a very academic place due to the university here. But I noticed that many bookstores are out-of-business now due to the internet... kind of sad because i find delight in bookstores sometimes, but not always. You know at times I find so many used books and many many books in chinese too, haha... but i cannot read them, nor can i see the difference from chinese, japanese or korean style writing too easily. but I always wanted to learn Japanese. I tell myself i will visit there one day because it seems fascinating to me. Hope your language studies are going well and not too stressed... and i wish for you to meet good friends and eat good food this year too!! see you.

Sometimes I buy books online but I don't like having to pay the shipping price. Usually the price of shipping is more than the book itself. So I have been staying away from ebay. I find whatever I get, even if I only pay a dollar for the item, it's not worth it in the end because of shipping charges, and exchange rate. Thanks for giving us ebay.ca in Canada but all the products are being sold by U.S. residents so still the exchange rate and still the shipping rate. I will buy off Amazon only if I can get to the minimum amount to get free shipping, and if it is cheaper than in the store. I prefer to get books from used book stores. They are a lot cheaper.
