Hey Grey's anatomy fans...so, yesterday was the last episode for some time apparently...what did you think? I thought it could've been better, although i still enjoyed it, don't get me wrong!! I'm glad that Derek gave Meredith the boot, finally!!!

I agree with Melanie...Meredith was right in saying that Derek needs SOMEONE, not necessarily her. They are both stubborn people, and will probably get it all together someday, but I see others in both their lives in the meantime!
It's a shame, though, that if Meredith decided she was ready to settle down, Derek would probably dump Rose and go back to her, and then expect her to be there again when Meredith got cold feet again. Can anyone else sort of see a situation kinda like that happening?

I agree, they've exploited the Derek/Meredith storyline quite a bit, BUT it wouldn't surprise me if they did it again with Derek dumping Rose to go back to Meredith!

Well I HATED the storyline about Bailey's baby-- I don't like stories about hurt children!
I agree, I'm glad Derek and Meredith broke up- I am SOO sick of them! I like Rose, I hope they make Mer so jealous!
Maybe by next fall we'll see another new episode....

I've been disappointed with the show for awhile, but I thought the last episode was surprisingly decent. Not up to old standards, but nothing cringe worthy. I actually sat through the whole thing and didn't feel like I wasted my time.
And, I'm glad Meredith is away from that scum sucking excuse for a man, at least until the show comes back and the writers decide to put them back together.

i think the episode was very good for not havin writters...its depressing w/o the show i hope they figure this strike out soon!!!!! i miss it...I am really sad for baily...she is sooo amazing and strong! I hope she pulls thru this!!!

Bailey has had her ups and downs this season, but you are right, she is a very strong person. She also needs a does of relationship reality - or the ability to step back - but she is strong and really loves her family...even if her husband gets whiny...

I was hoping Meredith and Derek would get their acts together and continue on with their relationship, but wasn't surprised to see them break up. I think Meredith is right - Derek doesn't necessarily want just Meredith, he wants *someone* to have a relationship with. I think Derek is right that Meredith does have trust issues and I think she's trying to get past that, but it takes time.
I didn't care for the storyline about Bailey's son and the problems with her husband. That just seemed harsh and unfair.
I wonder if George and Callie are going to try to work things out? Looks like it's over with Izzy.
I wonder if Alex and Izzy are going to eventually hook back up?

I think we do have to find out more about Alex...what do we know of him really anyways?? And now they let on that something happened to make him become a bad man, while younger he was a good boy...they have to evolve on this storyline!! It's true what you said about Meredith and Derek, they are both wrong and right at the same time.

I am glad that Merideth an Derek broke up. They were dragging for so long. She has other relationships to worry about.
But the Drama with Bailey's baby, that really hit home for me. It's sad that while in thier own way they are right,(Bailey and her husband) they are both also wrong.
