Who wouldn't pick it up? I subscribe to the theory, "See a penny, pick it up and all the day you'll have good luck" If it was alot of money, I would try to figure out who it may belong to. If it is just a bit, I wouldn't bother. I figure, if I don't pick it up, the next person coming along will.

y no the large amount.
ideally the principle should b one. to pick up or not. the magnitude must not matter to the laws and principles?
does my argument make sense?

Sure, I will pick up the money from the road if I come upon any but it doesn’t matter if there is someone or no one is nearby. I will donate the money to the charity fund as what I had done before. Hehe, so far I haven’t picked up any big amount of money yet. The largest amount I picked before was RM50, which is equivalent to $15us.

I've certainly picked up money before, but it depends on what it is. I generally don't pick up change, although there was one time there was a mess of change and I picked most of it up. Turned out to be a few bucks. Generally I'll just pick up bills, although those don't appear very often.
