India's higest civilian honour Bharat Ratna has never
been subjected to this kind of political jokeying.
Three political veterans A B Vajpayee,Jyoti Basu and
Karunanidhi are making rounds.In recent times
followers of Narsinha Rao, Jagjivan Ram, Charan Singh
and Kanshi Ram have demanded that award shoud be
conferred on them posthumously.
