30 days of night| Worth watching?

I've been hearing some bad and good stuff about this movie, but didn't really have the time to go watch it.I'd like to ask some of you who did: is it worth watching?
The fact that it's another "zombie/vampier" movie disturbs me a lot because I don't really like that type of movies.They are very repetitive.I did watch all resident evil movies tho, guess why?:D(Mila)
Anyway some response and perhaps even a short discription of the movie would be nice.Thank you in advance.

i myself loved this movie..i dont really see any horror,vampire or zombie movies anymore,but this movie had me screaming in the movies..i felt like i was in highschool again..fantastic.........
