NC State vs UNC

I am an huge NC State fan and am excited about the game today against UNC. UNC is very good this year, but they have had a lot of close games. If it hadn't been for a last second 3 pointer Clemson would have beaten them, not to mention how UNC-Asheville, Davidson and a few other smaller colleges gave them pretty good runs. So today I really think NC State could hang with them and even beat them. People are saying their is no way that will happen, but remember this, just last year around this time State upset UNC, sure it was in Raleigh's instead of Chapel Hill but I honestly think State's team is better this year than last so who knows? It should be an exciting game. What do you all think?

It's gonna be a very exciting basketball game. I can't wait for the telecast on espn. Being a UNC Tar Heel fan, I definitely believe that they can control and eventually win the game in the closing minutes. Though I haven't seen NC States' game, just you said.. they upset UNC last year.. So I guess its gonna be a close match and a very good game. My guess, UNC wins with Tyler Hansborough around. I just love his post-up game and for a guy his size, he's pretty fast. Just a couple of minutes ago, I heard espn's report about Tyler saying that he's the best post-up player in the nation today. :) Go Tar Heels.

Well it was not as close of a game as I originally thought, there is a reason UNC is number one right now. State hung with them for the first 5 minutes and then just started missing shots and UNC started running the courts. When that happened State panicked and never could get back into the game. UNC controlled the pace of this game, State isn't deep enough to play a running game. Kudos to the Tar Heels and hopefully the rematch later in the season will be more of a game.

Thanks for the update. Yeah.. The game wasn't a close one at all. Final score 93-62 UNC. I guess NC State just doesn't have a type of player yet who can lead the team up until the second half. As for UNC, Tyler had another double-double. He is such a tough and promising player. Let's just hope our teams can be able to win their next games and hopefully a championship.

Well I guess you got your answer! UNC is good and they will eventually lose. They are slightly weak on defense but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Final Four in March!
