Do You Like Who You Are?

Maybe a silly question. I just wanted those who read my posts to know - I like who I am. Do you like who you are?
Don't get me wrong. I didn't always like who I was. It took half of my life to find out who I even thought I was. The other half has been learning to like it.
I can tell (but I won't bore you) about the exact moment when I realized I liked who I was. Since then, it's been a constant progression of learning to enjoy who I am and why.
Do you like who you are and where your life has taken you? Is it what you thought it would be?

I am not exactly where I would like to be in life, but thank God, I am not where I use to be. I love myself and am learning to like everything about my physical appearance. I define myself the way that God sees me. I am his child, he is the only father I have ever known.

I understand Rozie. Us being unhappy with ourselves is just proof that we could stand a little improvement in some areas - that's all.....One of the biggest things is learning to forgive yourself. It makes for easier transforming.

The way God sees you is 'complete'. Through His eyes, you are healthy, wealthy, and strong. If we could learn to see us as He sees us, wouldn't that be the most awesome thing?!

Hi terilee, I must admit sometimes I don't like my self specially handling a difficult situation in my life where I have some mixed emotion solving my problems sometimes I hate my self being the way I am. But finally I will realize I have to love my self the way I am.

Learn to handle difficult situations with logic and resolve lyn.....not emotions. You are a beautiful person. Love yourself - because - there is no one quite like you in the entire world. You are unique....

I have liked myself since I was a teenager. I know how hard it is to find yourself when you are young and there is so much pier pressure going on. I had a hard time in high school which is when I decided I like me and I will not bend to others will. I am who I am and that is that. I have made mistakes along the way. However, those mistakes have made me the person I am today. I am a strong woman with no regrets. I would not live my life over or change anything I have done. In reliving or changing my life I would change the person I am now. The other thing is that when you like you people will like you and the ones who do not do not like themselves and are not important. I have never killed anyone so I can not be all bad.

I like who I am and I am happy with a very nice husband and a dog.I'm not perfect but I like who I am.I try my best to
be nice to people and talk nice to them even when they ask stupid questions,I'm still nice and never rude.I can be rude
to mean people though,I won't take that and I'll dish it right back at them.I won't let mean and rude people mess with me.I am happy,I have a good job and I have hobbies.I am happy and working on being happier.

It seems that the way u ask the question show that lack confidence and trust of urself.....f i were u...there's nothing that u cant do but to love urself.

I can remember the exact moment when I found out that in order for you to be happy, you have to like who you are. My father sat down with me, after finding out that I was on birth control, and told me in a long conversation that I needed to be happy with myself before anyone else could be happy with me. I took this to heart and realized that I was a pretty cool person, for wheover wanted to see me! Although I know a lot of people thought I was a bit conceited or self-centered, but I was happy with ME. There are plenty of people out there that realized I am a real person and I have become very close to. Most of the others, I approahed first and have still had a great relationship with. It's all about confidence.
Yup, I like me too!!! And I'm glad you like you!! That helps me like you!

Awesome reinydawn. Your story reminds me of my story. My Father sat me down and told me the same thing. He even taught me how to be happy. There will always be people out there who question, but, I remind myself, 'those who know me, know the truth. Those who don't, don't know what they're missing'.

that is a great question. i think i have worked my A$$ of to get to know myself. I worked even harder to change those things i don't care for. just so today at this moment i can say that i love me. I love myself and all of my imperfections.

I'm amazed at all the people who like themselves. I wasn't sure what the responses would be and I'm glad there are so many people out there that have learned to like themselves.

I do and I don;'t..I am happy with the improvements but I still need to work on myself..It's a bit like polishing a diamond or somethinbg like that. But anyway I have to like myself a bit otherwise I would sound very ungrateful to Upstairs who made me lol. So yes and no..Yes on howe I was created but my weaknesses need a bit of sorting out and I am doing my best to fix that.

Yes of course. I like the way I am now. For having a good family, a good and loving wife, a cute and loving children. A good source of income and a people surround me.
