Do you complain about life, or do what it takes to change it?

I was talking about this with a friend of mine last night. She is a great person and my very best friend. Yet she complains about things gone wrong instead of doing what it takes to change those wrong things.
So I am asking you, do you complain or do you take action?

i never complain about the things that go wrong in my life.
my principle is nothing would happen if i complain
i prefer to change my life rather than complaining about the things that does go the way i want them to go.

I would like to say that I take action, but I guess I don't 100% of the time. It is hard, when you are in the thick of it (a problem)sometimes to realise that it takes two to tango and that you are in fact part of the cause of the problem and that you must take action and change what you are doing to get a different result.
Bottom line is, we cannot change anyone else but ourselves and it is this change that will change the outcome.
So if there is something in your life that you do not like, take a step back, look at yourself, change what you are doing for the better and make a positive solution for yourself.
Your life is about you and not about other people, stop complaining about other people and how they have affected you and start healing yourself and becoming the happiest you that you can be!
Don't waste life complaining, take action and turn your life around.
Oh yes, in answer to your question, I like to think I am a doer but I am often told I am a thinker... hrmm now if I could only practice what I preach.... that would be action...

I think we all complain about life one way or another. Sometimes its just a way to relieve stress and tension and then gets you focussed on how to deal with it. I try not to complain as much anymore because it doesn't do me any good when I do. I try to take action and turn it into something positive instead of moaning and groaning and doing nothing about it. I made lots of changes in my life over the last year and I am alot happier. One of them was to stop sweating the small stuff and be more positive :0)

Honey, you know me...I'm a doer...I don't complain. At least I hope I don't. I don't see things as problems. I see them as a situation that just needs to be resolved or made better.
Besides, I don't have a thing in this world to complain about. It wouldn't do any good anyway. I just 'get 'er done'......

I guess a lot of us are wanting to change a part of our life to make it better.
But there are also many times where we cannot do so without changing something drastically to achieve it.
I guess many of us are in our comfort zone. The inertia to get up and change something to fix those complaints require effort that we are uncomfortable with. Uncomfortable with having to give up all that we currently have, sacrificing them to achieve and fix those complaints.
Sometimes it is just fear of what we have to give up in order to get what we one that is holding us back.
Either way, we can either sit and complaint or get up and do something. Most of us would choose by default to go via the former rather than the latter.

Both! I complain, moan, and gripe for all it's worth, then do what I can to make it better, then I gripe again. What, don't you?

everyone has the ability to be happy, whether in a bad situation or not. if you are in a situation you don't like then change it, if you stay in it and complain there must be a reason you stay in that situation and you shouldn't be complaining then

I complain about things when they first happen, but then i do try and change things so they arn't as bad or so they get better in the end.
Theres nothing wrong with complaining abit aslong as you don't keep going on about it.
Some things need complaining about, because that is the only way to get something done about it.
It depends if its something simple that can be solved easily or something that is complicated, because when its something more complicated its ok to complain.
It helps people to talk about things, and if thats complaining it will still help them...... so theres nothing wrong with it.

Sometimes, I have some complain in my life. It is hard to live by now and you need to double your effort to succeed in life. Sometimes I imagine the life of a those lucky child who was born rich and they don't need to double their effort to get the everything they want.
