Manchester United football club managed to beat managerless Newcastle United by 6-0 scoreline in a Premier League match at Old Trafford last night. All goals were scored in the second half with Ronaldo hattrick, Tevez 2 goals and a rare Rio Ferdinand's goal. With former leader Arsenal held to a 1-1 draw at home to Birmingham, Manchester United lead the table. The big win must be a real booster to the teams morale. Do you think this is the turning point for the title race? Can United go all the way until end of the season sitting at the top?

Cant say this is the turning point, but yeah, it's a crucial result as Man United had the opportunity to reclaim top spot after Arsenal slipped up at home. I still believe, though, that there are going to be a few more twists in the tail/tale (whichever you look at it). This is going to be a really close season as far as standings are concerned, and I think Sir Alex Ferguson has envisaged rightly when he said that the total points tally is going to be lower this time round. The lower teams in the table look solid and will fight tooth and nail every game. So no result can be taken for granted.
Manchester displayed a brand of football that is very much championship winning in nature. If they manage to be consistent, they should win the title again!
