is life a big joke?!

lately ive been noticing a lot of stories in the news mostly because ive heard the same stories before, but told by comedians.. as jokes! for example.. how many jokes have been made about a female or a black president in usa.. endless amounts no doubt.. but here we are watching a black man and a woman running for president.. i hear another story about mexico not being in the summer olympics cuz all their good athletes are in other countries.. women have rights in the middle east now (plenty of sexist jokes have been made on that topic over the years).. im not knocking any of this by the way.. i dont care who runs for president whether it be male female black white yellow or purple.. i dont care whos in the olympics cuz the same people win regardless.. and i certainly dont mind equal rights although its more for women than men (note child custody situations if you think equal rights exist for men).. anyways im noticing a lot of stuff these days that a lot of people used to joke about.. can you think of any more examples?

I have never been a big fan of comedians as I believe their are very few comedians who are funny with out bagging someone, insulting someone or just being rude, i don't think it is funny bagging people or even events, and they are so over rehearsed anyway, I turn standup comics off as soon as they come on TV, how many years did we have to put up with mother in-law jokes now they just take every situation no matter how serious it is and makes jokes even at peoples appearance which I think is just rude and hurtful and usually the comedians are not that hot themselves...I hate them...

thats quite the rant but didnt answer my question at all :) i asked if you know of any news youve heard about these days that youve heard people joke about in the past :D
by the way i might add i didnt get those statements i made off of any news broadcast just random crap i see on the internet (not even all real news) :D

I guess the essence of my rant is they joke about everything and anyone, I think we are bombarded with tactless jokes, I switch off, even joking about Brittany Spears I don't think that is funny, that girl is in trouble thats what I call bagging...not funny

I think Chris Rock perfectly illustrated the shape of things when he said:

I'm a big fan of his myself. I have seen Bring the Pain and Bigger and Blacker, but not the third one. We used to go to the Improv a lot, and I always wanna think I saw Chris Rock there but it was Achoo!... Dave Chapell, not the Rock.

a friend of mine from work went to a taping of the dave chapelle show last year ;) hes a pretty funny guy too though i dont watch much tv so ive only seen his show a couple times.. ive seen him do stand up though and in a movie or two.. but ya chris rock is a comic genius.. he has people who write for him but he writes his own stuff too.. no harm getting help eh ?:D

oh god thats funny.. i am a huge chris rock fan.. i didnt see him say that though! haha thats comical stuff im still laughing about it.. i love how chris puts things into words.. he and i share views on many things.. i guess thats why he makes me laugh so much.. he should do another special.. i dont think any comedian has done 4 successful ones.. hes done 3 so far :D

I dunno i think its possible that everything we watch in movies and on tv, is to prepare us for some huge crazy event, If you notice, a lot of the times when movies come out there are a few movies that are all similar but they come out at the same time, i wish i could think of an example..I think i got one, Right before the "war on terror" started, there was a lot of war movies being released.. that's the most recent one that i can think of. I dunno if thats just coincidental or not. I'm waiting for the aliens to land on earth, lol, lots of alien movies.*taps foot*
