'Glitches' in harry potter??

Did anyone else notice certain little things in the first few books that don't exactly fit with the ending of the series and seem to show that JK didn't have everything planned out totally from the beginning but more formed the full picture as she continued with the series?
For example, in the first book right at the beginning, Dumbledore appears on privet drive - silently, not making a sound - but apparition always makes a popping noise in the later books.
Also, it seems that in the first book she hadn't yet come up with the idea of an Order of Phoenix, because McGonnagal and Hagrid seem to be pretty clueless about plans and things to do with Harry, and the prophecy they should probably already know about, and Sirius being the secret keeper or his godfather... I can't remember the exact details of what it was, but I remember there was something that seemed funny to me, like if they had been in the order they would have already known stuff that they didn't, but later in the Order they all did...
There were other things that I can't think of now that had me confused.
If anyone has a good explanation of these things, or if anyone can think of other things from the first few books that don't seem accurate according to later ones, please let me know here!

If you remember muggles do not hear or see the same as witches or wizards. The Dursleys on the on popping when mundungus disapperated because they knew of the wizarding world. As for the Prophecy, Dumbledore and the deatheaters were the only ones who knew of the prophecy, Dumbledore also kept secrets until necessary to tell someone. The time for telling was when the Order reorganized after the Triwizard turnament. That was when they found out about the prophecy.

When Mundungus disapparated though, everyone else on the street also looked out the window to see what the commotion was about, and Mr Dursely had to tell them it was a car backfiring. (Which would make it difficult for wizards to just apparate anywhere, since veryone around them would hear it.) What I rather think is that she didn't come up with the idea of popping noise until the later books.
What you said about the prophecy sounds about right. but I just remember when i was rereading the 1st book that there was something about it that didn't seem 100% accurate with the later books.

There are some glitches in the series but these are usually notice by die hard fans... and the only person who can answer the question about these glitches is J.K. Rowling... i myself found some glitches but i was able to find explanation for them by constantly reserching and reading transcripts on interviews of J.K. Rowling... it seems that some questions will also be answered when she finally publishes the Harry Potter encyclopedia... but we will have to wait a couple of years for that...

I think that what they use for a lot of the explanations is that they are in a magical world, so who knows, maybe Dumbledore did not apparerte. Who knows?
But I would have to agree with the statement that she didn't have it all planned out, she may have had some of the general ideas, but nothing very complex. I still think that they are some of the best book ever.

Yeah I know, it's just that if you look at some of those HP fan sites, they really tear the books apart and analyse every bit.
Trust me, I don't at all mean to dis the books!! I just wanted to hear everyone's opinions here on myLot, see if they could come up with contradictions, and then see if anyone else could fix them or explain them away.
