Right kind of fear...

Fear? Doesn't that mean respect for God? if you're doing what's right, it does. if you're doing what's wrong, it means the dry mouth, sweaty palm, whats gonna happen next, scary kind of fear.
here's the definition: fear is the attitude of heart that seeks a right relationship to the fear's source. fear says, "I'm really tempted to sin right now but i'm not going to, because i'm concerned about the way it will affecrt my relationship with God."
But if I sin, won't He just forgive me?

i don't know how to put it,but most often we avoid committing sin b'coz of fear of being punished.
personally i think our relationship with god should be out of love and 'fear maybe of hurting the person we love',rather than fear of punishment or surrendering to god when faced with personal problems.
