I am happy to see Capello becomes the England coach. But I think he will face intense pressure especially from media. Even though he has good achievement in club career, he really face great challenge this time

I think we need a period of stability. We have to give him chance to build his own squad. At the end of the day we need to start winning trophies. I hope he can do this before the press turn on him.

I totally agree about the media. They will no doubt hound the new manager! I do not think this is helpful at all, the added pressure on players and the manager alike will not improve their performance. The media should be there as a force of support, rallying troops and celebrating our country's team!
It is, however, a shame we could not appoint a high quality english manager who could do the job.

I think Capello is the right man for now, Mourhinho would've been perfect but you can't have everything! Capello needs to mentor our young English managers & we need better grass roots training & more centres of excellence so we have a good selection of young talent once Capello's reign is over. Hopefully by then we'll have a top choice of English managers & great players to choose from. I would love to see an English manager but we don't have any that I think are top quality right now.
