is friends suppose to betray there friends??? or its just your not really "friends" or he/she's just using you for some reason??

I have found that some friends are loyal to the one they are with, like the saying love the one you are with some friends are loyal to whomever they are with so they ten to gossip or whatever about the friends that are not there at the time....
