I have a desktop. And i like desktops better. cause ia can upgrade it, put any kind of card in it (Tv Card etc) while the laptop you can't upgrade , except put more RAM an bigger hard drive.

I am unfortuanately using a desktop. I would absolutely love to have a laptop! Right now the only place I can access the interent is in my bedroom as that is where my desktop is I would like to have a laptop so I could access the interent anywhere in my house.

I am exactly as you are luvstohat-- on the desktop so wanting the laptop to finally let everyone know see I do get out and co-mingle with the universe around me but I am still writing and doing my stuff for the Internet biz I am into . . . so much work away from having it in my lap !

At home and at work I usually use a desktop because I am more comfortable with its keyboard and its usually faster. I only use my laptop when I'm not either on those locations I've mentioned.

Im using both desktop and laptop. im using a dell inspiron laptop and for the desktop. I just bought the parts and assembled it my self....

Me, I use desktop, I would like to have use a laptop but I can't afford to buy a laptop. Desktop is cheaper than laptop so that is the main reason. Second one, is I am much familiar and comfortable of using desktop than a laptop.

I'm on a desktop right now cause I bought it about 2-3 years ago and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. But now the price difference of laptops and desktops are very similar so I would rather have a laptop now. I'd trade the slightly lower temps and slightly higher hardware and cheaper price for mobility.

Even though I own two laptops, I prefer my desktop, as my keyboard and mouse are wireless, and I have my PC connected to a Vizio 37" LCD. I am always online doing something, and I make my living doing it!

I only have a desktop computer at the moment. I do have a wireless keyboard and mouse though so that helps. I am not stuck at a desk all day or night.

I go on the internet via my laptop, i prefer laptops to a pc.
PCs are alot easier to update, but laptops are better if you don't have much space and you are likely to want to take it with you somewhere.
Laptops are usually cheaper aswell, i think thats the main reason people buy them.

I like fast computers.
same in capability , desktops and laptops are greatly different in price.
so sticking with desktops till now.

I use a laptop more often than a desktop. It isn't heavy for one and I am a constant user for wireless internet connection so that I can take my laptop wherever I go. I find these more convenient now - since I am not a heavy gamer or need a super built computer - my days of that are just over. I like to keep technology short and simple. And a good thing now why I recommend for people to move over to laptops is because their prices have gone down rapidly since you can buy one an average to $400 to $500.
