selfish friends

i am teacher, but after having a baby i had to leave my job now a days iam at home,but i keep good relation with my colleagues and friends,many times me and my husband help them,in many ways,i never forget to wish them on their birth days and on festivals,i also gift them valueble thing,just few days back i got news that one of my friend and colleague got marreid,this news was enough to break my heart,beause neither she invited me nor showed any inclination about geeting married .this really set me off now iam not responding to any body,what do u think,i should avoid oppotunistic friends.

Before cutting them off you should talk to your friends and ask why they do not include you and it hurt you to not be included in her wedding or even told. If you are not satisfied with there answer then just cut them off. You should always get answer because youll always wonder.

Hello Meeta,I know how you are feeling and it hurts.But,let me tell you dear,not all the people are like you,you are good at heart.You care about your friends but there are people who are selfish,opportunistic and doesn't value friendship at all.You should not feel sad about it,I know it hurts though but at least now you came to know how he/she is really like.How can they forget a mutual friends?Even if they did,because they are too busy,why can't they call you and apologise?..I say,you should stop thinking about it.Whether to invite or not to invite that is totally their decision,he/she may mean a lot to you but they must have taken you just for granted.This is life.Some people are really not worth making friendship.Even though going for a wedding is not a big deal but I know when somebody you count as a friend do such thing it definitely makes one feel bad.
