Maybe because when our WWII vets came home this country honored them. They saw them for the hero's that they were and did everything they could to make their return home as easy as possible. But that didn't happen in vietnam. These poor men who left their families and risked their lives only to come home to people calling them baby killers and spitting on them. Some employers wouldn't give them jobs because they fought in that war, as if they had a choice. But you sure didn't see the ACLU yelling about the injustice of it all!
