How old were you when you had your first long term relationship?

My first long term relationship happened when I was 13...it was only about 6 mths..the next long one was when I was 16 and he was 27...we were together for almost 2 yrs (lived together etc)..both break ups were because of my personal issues etc (I had it rough as a kid and just got worse the older i got)....My absolutel LONGEST relationships are the two I'm in now..My husband I've been with for going on 10 yrs and my bf for going on 11 yrs (off an on for both but more on with my husband and off with my bf..hard to explain LOL) and both are still going strong :-D

I was 20. I was with him for four years and yes he was my first and only love. I stupidly broke up with him because I thought the grass was greener on the other side. I wanted to see what else was out there and date more. I regret it to this day 12 years later.

I met him when I was 16, he was my first everything. We haven't broken up, we're getting married in 5 months.

I was 16 and a half when I got into my first (and only) long term relationship. I've been in it for 16 years come the 25th of this month. So as you can see it hasn't ended. :) What about you Sissygrl? How old were you when you had your first long term relationship and how long did it last? :P

Well do you want me to describe the one im in right now? I condsider that one my first real long term relationship and you already know about that one so I will explain the other one. I met this guy online that was from my home town and we decided to meet up and we started dating and that lasted for about maybe almost a year then he started to come to my work everytime i worked and wanted me to spend every waking moment with him. I was 16 I had other stuff I wanted to do. lol He gave me a golden rose and told me how much he loved me every single hour of the day it felt like. And he asked me to marry him and da da da. Then I broke up with him and he stalked me. He was every where i was. When I moved he new where I was. I got threatening emails from him. Now I think he is over me finally. Havnt heard from him since i got married and that was about 2 or 3 years ago.

I had a relationship at 15/turning 16 and it lasted for six months, then she decided she wouldn't call or reply to messages and whenever I called to see what was going on in person. (she was never home) funny that. Second one didn't last to long, personally I don't count it. Third, I met my wife. =) ~Joey

i think i was about 16, but i cant honestly remember. none of my relationships have been as serious as the one i am in now. as i have been with my partner for over 2 and a half years now, and we are engaged

Crap, I married my first love. We were 18. Very foolish, by the way! We broke up 7 years later because he cheated on me with a girl from his work. I probably would have loved him forever, but really he did me the best favor of my life by cheating. I think I would have outgrown him (we were kids, after all). And I met a much better man 5 years later and married him, so all is well.

i was 16 years old.. about to turn 17. it's hard to say for how long it lasted. the thing is, it started and sadly, it ended. i think it's my first love. we broke up because we were too young to handle such a serious relationship.

It was 2 years, and I was kinda in love with him I was really young so I wasn't sure what love was (I do now) and we broke up because I got pregnant and he got scared....I got a great kid and he is running from the child support people...lol.

it was aug 05. i got married. i m proud to say i loved only once.

my first long term relationship would have been at birth and it is still going on 42 years later - that would be my relationship with my parents and sibbling/s other than that my husband and I met when I was 19, so that is pretty long term as well.

my first and long relationship start when i was 21 yrs old we been 4yrs before getting married with my only one boyfriend and now my husband already last january 7,08 is our 2nd year anniversary but we dont celebrate yet together because im working and far from him:-(

My longest relationship has been 7 years -- my husband. Married about 2, together 7 total. My second longest was an ex boyfriend. We dated for about 6 months. He ended it because he heard a rumor that while he, his niece and nephew, mother and father were in the Bahamas, I was porking some other guy though his sister saw me every day at their house swimming in their pool in their absence. Plus he was a 35 year old mama's boy who still lived at home. My third longest relationship was with another ex boyfriend that lasted about 2 months. I can't remember why we broke up, but I can remember that I was glad when he was gone!

i was 22 when i first fell in love.... she was from my town... n the relationship lasted for 4 years... we were in love.... it was really beautiful till it lasted... we broke up bcoz of personal commitments.. we never ever decided to marry.... still it was mutual...

I was 12 when I fell in love with a man that is now my hubby. We been together for 13 yrs and I dont think I can ever be without him.
