I haven't been on myLot more than a couple months, but I know that in order for you to get a star for the first time you have to have 100 points. This is my first star, so I don't know when you get another or when it changes colors. I hope that helps. If you have any other questions, I'll do the best I can to answer them!

To get my first star and gain 100 points here on myLot, I posted approximately 20 discussions and responded to 80 discussions. You don't have to do so like this to get your 100 points. Perhaps you will have more discussions to start. I don't have as many ideas sometimes, so I only start discussions when I have something interesting. I enjoy responding to discussions the most. However, if you would rather start discussions, you may be able to get your 100 points faster that way. It all depends on how you want to do it.

Hello, and welcome to mylot,
Ok you will get a star when you reach 100 posts and the number in it indicates your rating (the + and - buttons are how you rate peoples posts)
As for the intrest levels they go up the more you respond and post discussions in a particular intrests - for example if you post a lot in the "mylot" intrest you mylot level will go up.
