I had the most wonderful weekend. Friday night my little granddaughter came and stayed the night with me. We worked on painting projects and stamped and played with play dough! On sat. afternoon I drove to my sisters and my other sister and her husband and my brother and his wife all had dinner together and spent the night playing cards and just hanging out. This morning I slept in a little then we all had breakfast and I did some shopping with some of the gift cards I got for Christmas. I just got home about an hour ago and though I am tired it was wonderful to spend time with family! What did you do this weekend and what was the highlight of the past couple of days?

Sounds like you had a great time. How nice to be able to spend time with your sisters and brother and your granddaughter.
I worked Friday night, went to a casino with my husband for awhile, went to a party Saturday night and went to our middle daughter's house for dinner Sunday evening.
Sunday afternoon our youngest daughter called and I was able to talk to our grandson. He will be 3 in two weeks and is a hoot to chat with on the phone. They live out of state, about 1,200 miles from us, so I don't always get a chance to see him or talk with him. Asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he told me purple Chapstick. Ok, that's easy enough...lol This conversation was the highlight of my weekend.

Purple chapstick.....ah.....I totally understand. My granddaugher stayed over and the next day her mommy came to get her...she is 2 1/2...well she never wants to leave so her mommy told her that I had to go away....she tells her mommy....I will sure be sad the next time I come to Grandma's house and she's not here anymore! Where do they come up with this stuff? LOL

hi jill! looks like you really had a great weekend! good for you. ^__^
hmm.. highlights of my weekend... i think those would be the times i spent with my little nephew and the time when my bestfriend came over and put icing on my face. ^__^;;
its always a great time for me when i'm spending time with my little nephew however annoying he can be sometimes especially at times when he would "surf" along with in the internet. ^__^;; he would say, "i want horse, i want to watch a lot of horse!" and i wouldn't be able to do anything about it but download some horse clips and let him watch and stop my myLotting. .

Sounds great, lots of quality time with your family. My mother in law came up to meet her newest great grandson, my first grandson. He is just over 3 weeks old, and a great kid! So we had some fun with him. My daughter went to her new group which is a medieval type re-enactment group, so she had fun, too. I think time spent with family is extremely important these days.

Friday I worked until 2:30pm. I came home and just rested. I am haveing medical issues and supposed to be off my feet as much as possible. Saturday my boyfriend worked until 1pm, we ran some errands and then spent the rest of the day at home playing Wii. Today we went to my parents house, 4 of my cousins, my aunt and uncle, my sister, and my parents all played Wii, Eucher, and sang kareoke, ate pizza and other junk food and just had an all out wonderful evening. Now we are home relaxing and I am eating Reese's PB Whoppers! A must try!
And I agree! Family time is the best!!!! This is the best time I have had in a looooooooooooooonnnnnnngggggg time :D
