I have bought heaps of things from ebay before... camera, clothes (brand new baby clothes) RC toys, phones etc... And just the other day we made another purchase - a DVD player for the car - one with 2 screens so both our kids can see the movie in front of them :)

We just bought the DVD players not 2 nights ago so no we have not recieved it yet. The recommended retail on them (well listed on the item itself) was $400 more than we payed for it so I assume we got a great deal!! All the other ones we have been looking at with the features we want have all been a lot dearer than we got this one for too so I think we did really well with it :)

I have bought several things from ebay. I guess the most expensive was 4 NASCAR tickets for over 600.00 but the seats were fantastic and didn't pay much over ticket price.
Other than that I usually buy things around Christmas time. I have bought Gone With The Wind musical figurines for my daughter who collects them. She also collects cows from the Cow Parade. This Christmas I feel I got my best bargain on ebay when I found one very hard to find, retired cow to complete her Wizard of Oz collection. I did buy her the Glinda the Good Witch cow.

I bought a beautiful new handbag on sale on ebay several months ago.
I paid less than 50% of the original price of this designer handbag.
It was quite a wonderful purchase!
:)
I recently purchased a phone card for my prepaid cell phone plan. It was discounted.
:)
I buy discounted padded envelopes on ebay, too, at very low prices.

I buy supplies I can use when creating my "wearable art" jewelry. I have also bought skeins of yarn from a couple of shops. I look often for bargains, but there are many like me that surf the Ebay listings, looking for great buys. Sometime you win them, most times you don't.
My best bargain was 6 authentic pieces of beach glass. They were already drilled and all I did was add a little wire-wrap and chains and I had 5 beach glass necklaces (I kept one piece of glass for myself) I sold those 5 for about 5x the amount of all the supplies and it took less than an hour to make all 5.
My most expensive was approx $40 for a huge box of yarn. I've already knitted over 10 scarves and still have so many skeins left...it was a very good purchase!
Great thread!

I've purchased hundreds of dollars worth of stuff on eBay, and it's always been in good, working condition, and much cheaper than the regular price anywhere else. The only thing about eBay is that the products aren't always released the same month as they're put up for auction, but most of the time, one-month old stuff isn't bad. Unless it's, like... cake.
