Ever fallen in love with someone you met online?

I met my wife online in 2000. We've been married, pretty happily, since 2001.

I met my ex online too. We were together for a year before he decided that the feelings we once had were gone. Before that breakup, everything was pretty great. We got along really well. But things happen, right?

I definitely fell in love with someone from the internet. I feel in love with him after we'd been chatting for only a week. I wasn't certain it was love, you just can't be certain of that kind of thing no matter what the circumstance. I just knew I wanted to be with him. We chatted online for about 6-7 months and the feelings never went away, even though he kept rejecting me. Then once we met in person, I just knew I wanted to be with him.

it happened to me 4-5 years back. i was chatting and i met a girl and we chatted for 15 min. after which she said lets meet and the story started. It continued for 1 and a half years after which we separated due to some family reasons but we still are friends. it was my first love....u know what first love means.....there is something in ur heart, mind and everything.....u feel her in everything..i can't describe u.

well i really have never fallen in love with anyone online,since i really dont believe that the people we are talking online is telling truth.ya its okay if after starting the intial conversation one meets each other face to face and then one starts having emotion for the other.i think if you havent met the guy ,you should first meet him and then come to any conclusions.

I met my ex online. Aol to be exact. We ended up being together for 9months but his job did not allow him to be home much and I finally couldnt take it anymore. He was a great guy. I felt silly at first having an "online" boyfriend but once we met and things starting going well for us it was no different than anyone else I had dated. I have never fallen in love with some I met online. But one must be very cautious before commiting in online relationships.It is very easyy to write letters of love online. But meaning that is tough what I feel. so if you really feel something different, better check it very well.

I have. And I married him. My husband and I net on an online dateing service. Lavalife to be exact. I think it is a great way to meet people because you are more comfortable and open and more yourself when you are getting to know each other from the comfort and privacy of your own homes, rather than being right in each others face and being really nervous and acting out of character to try to impress the otehr person to alieviate your nervousness.

No I have never fallen in love with someone online. I have trust issues with people that I meet face to face. I doubt I would trust someone I have never met to be telling me the truth over the internet. I have heard of many success stories, I just don't think it would work for me personally.

Not yet..I have never fallen in love with a guy whom a met online as i fear their identity and reliability...i feel its more of fake than anything else...but still at the back of my mind i feel not everyone is fake...But not yet dated anyone on the net....

not as yet. and i think i ll b very cautious. though it is said, love is blind and unplanned.
